WEEKLY: China's domestic iron ore concs prices strengthen

Chinese prices for domestically-produced iron ore concentrates posted firm gains across major producing regions during the past week, reflecting the improved sentiment evident in the country's ferrous markets, Mysteel's latest survey showed.

The strong performance of iron ore derivatives reflected the bright mood of market players last week, with the most-traded iron ore contract for May delivery on the Dalian Commodity Exchange closing at Yuan 811.5/tonne ($116.7/t) on March 13, higher by 5.8% from the settlement price on March 6. This encouraged
