DAILY: China's rebar prices dip further amid prevailing caution

China's rebar prices in both spot and futures markets dropped for the third consecutive day on March 26 amid prevalent cautious market sentiment, while spot trading volume for construction steel items including rebar rebounded slightly on the same day.

The national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar came in at Yuan 3,333/tonne ($484/t) including the 13% VAT on Thursday, down by Yuan 4/t from Wednesday, according to Mysteel's assessment. In the derivatives market, the most-traded rebar futures contract for May delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange also trended downwards, with the
