WEEKLY: China's NPI prices dip before leveling out

China's spot prices for high-grade nickel pig iron (NPI) fell at the start of the March 23-27 week in tandem with softening Shanghai nickel and stainless futures prices, Mysteel's latest survey results show, before leveling out by the end of the week.

On March 27, Mysteel assessed the price of high-grade NPI with 7-13% nickel content in East China's Jiangsu province at Yuan 1,100/mtu ($159/mtu) including delivery and tax, lower by Yuan 10/mtu from a week earlier.
