This morning, hog prices continued to decline. Breeding farms are slaughtering at a normal pace, and with monthly slaughter plans increasing sequentially, supply pressure remains high. Meanwhile, end-user demand remains weak, and with no near-term positive catalysts in sight, prices are expected to have further room to decline.
