Vegetable oil futures prices edged up slightly in night trading, with soybean oil futures temporarily trading within the range of Yuan 8,6008,700 /tonne. Basis prices in the spot market fluctuated. In the northern market yesterday, there were block transactions for JuneSeptember delivery at around Yuan 200/tonne above the Y2609 contract, while spot basis prices saw relatively stable trading volumes.
