DAILY: China's rebar prices largely steady, sales sink again

China's spot rebar prices held largely stable on April 14, while transactions of construction steel, including rebar, experienced a clear pullback after gaining for two days.

On Tuesday, Mysteel assessed the national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar at Yuan 3,328/tonne ($488/t) including the 13% VAT, up by a tiny Yuan 1/t on day. Futures prices of major ferrous commodities in China posted mixed performances yesterday. The most-traded rebar futures contract for October delivery on the Shanghai Futures
