For lithium carbonate, the futures price closed the session again with mild increase, and the downstream players remained wait-and-see. The market speculation was still around the supply concerns triggered by potential production suspensions caused by license renewal among lepidolite mines in Jiangxi Province, coupled with the uncertainty as of when Zimbabwe will resume lithium concentrate exports. Still, the downstream players were cautious in procurement, trying to force down the prices and constraining the price hike.
