In the 16th week of 2026, soybean inventories at major domestic crushing plants increased nationwide, while soymeal inventories fell and outstanding contracts declined. Specifically, soybean inventories stood at 5.4689 million metric tons, up 314,700 tons or 6.11% from the previous week, and up 1.2098 million tons or 28.41% year-on-year. Soymeal inventories were 613,800 tons, down 6,700 tons or 1.08% from the previous week, and up 488,300 tons or 389.08% year-on-year. Outstanding contracts totaled 3.0274 million tons, down 633,100 tons or 17.30% from the previous week, and up 222,600 tons or 7.94% year-on-year.
