WEEKLY: China's import iron ore prices stay firm

Imported Iron Ore Demand Price Supply
Chinese prices for imported iron ore continued to increase last week, albeit slightly, as steel prices were bolstered by a steady recovery in steel demand from end-users, according to Mysteel's latest weekly report.
By April 24, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao had risen by Yuan 2/wmt ($0.3/wmt) on week to Yuan 771/wmt FOT and including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also settled higher at $109.05/dmt CFR Qingdao, up $0.95/dmt on week.     Steel consumption among end-users picked up
