From a macro perspective, the lack of substantial progress in peace negotiations between Iran and the United States continues to provide support for crude oil prices amid tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. However, the spillover effect of the recent crude oil rally onto agricultural commodities has weakened, with the soybean market focusing more on spring planting progress and South American export pace. According to USDA data, as of April 26, U.S. soybean planting progress had reached 23%, up from 12% a week earlier, exceeding last year's 17% and the five-year average of 12%, and in line with market expectations.
