WEEKLY: Pre-holiday stocking slims China's coking coal stocks

Combined coking coal stocks held by the 523 domestic coking coal miners under Mysteel's tracking declined during the week to April 30, as end-users tried to shore up their raw material inventories before the Labour Day holiday over May 1-5, the latest survey results show.

As of April 30, raw coal stocks held by the 523 surveyed mines totaled 5.36 million tonnes, down 1.1% on week after stocks had mounted over the previous three weeks, according to Mysteel's tracking.
