Vegetable oil night trading is moving within a narrow range, as the market wavers between hopes for a U.S.-Iran agreement and the threat of renewed conflict, with limited new bullish fundamentals in the short term, leaving room for a pullback. In terms of market narrative, palm oil remains the strongest, followed by rapeseed oil and then soybean oil. In the spot market, domestic stocks of the three major oils are higher than the same period last year, putting pressure on spot prices of soybean, palm, and rapeseed oils. Additionally, with high outright prices, basis levels are generally weak. For soybean oil, one new export shipment for July/August was added yesterday, while no new purchase vessels were reported for palm oil.
