Indonesian thermal coal prices continued to climb on May 11, extending the upward trend seen since early April, as Chinese buyers maintained active procurement for pre-summer stockpiling while Indonesia's tighter supply policy continued to constrain spot availability.

Mysteel assessed Indonesian 3,800 kcal/kg NAR thermal coal at $66.5/tonne FOB Kalimantan on Monday, up $0.5/t from last Friday.
