Imported Iron Ore Price Trading
China's imported iron ore prices in the portside and seaborne markets lost more ground on May 19, accompanied by mixed ore buying activities in the two markets.
On Tuesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao was assessed lower at Yuan 775/wmt ($114/wmt) FOT including the 13% VAT, down Yuan 5/wmt from Monday and marking the fourth trading day of decline. Meanwhile, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also dropped $0.65/dmt on day to $109.75/dmt CFR Qingdao.   Iron
