SHFE aluminum, nickel futures fall, copper inches up on week

Major futures contracts for key non-ferrous metals on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) – aluminum, nickel, and copper – moved in contrasting directions during the May 22-29 week. Aluminum and nickel futures declined, while copper posted a slight gain, exchange data show.

As of the end of Friday's daytime trading session, the most-traded aluminum contract for July delivery had fallen by 1% on week to Yuan 24,270/tonne ($3,585/t).
