WEEKLY: Chinese mills' steel stocks rise slightly

Inventories of the five major carbon steel products held by the Chinese steel mills sampled in Mysteel's regular survey increased slightly during the May 29-June 4 period after the previous week's decline, with the total tonnage edging up 0.5% on week to 4.18 million tonnes.

The five major steel items comprise rebar, wire rod, hot-rolled coil (HRC), cold-rolled coil and medium plate.
