Manganese ore prices in China remained weak during the week of June 10-16, as market sentiment softened with the weakness in silicomanganese (SiMn) futures prices, Mysteel Global learned.
As of June 16, the price of South Africa-origin 36.5% grade manganese ore at North China's Tianjin port was assessed by Mysteel at Yuan 37.7/dmtu ($5.6/dmtu) including the 13% VAT, dipping by Yuan 0.1/dmtu from a week ago.   The same day, the most-traded SiMn futures contract on the Zhengzhou Futures Exchange
