On June 18, the market price of electrolytic cobalt slumped Yuan 12,814/tonne to Yuan 368,409-372,182/tonne. In addition, the market prices of cobalt sulfate and cobalt chloride continued to be stable at 88,000/t-92,000/t and 109,000-114,000/t respectively.Last week, the cobalt sulfate and cobalt chloride markets continued their weak trajectory, with spot transaction prices edging further downward and the market's bifurcated structure remaining unchanged. Constrained by logistical bottlenecks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and delays in export quota implementation, the supply of cobalt intermediates remained tight. Production lines relying on intermediates as feedstock remained suspended, while the MHP route continued to be utilized primarily by integrated producers for captive use, with no material entering the market.
