China's nickel sulfate imports reached 19,011 tonnes in May, down 10,778 tonnes or 36.2% from the previous month, but up 750 tonnes or 4.1% year-on-year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. Among the total, imports from Indonesia totaled 9,560 tonnes, from South Korea 3,485 tonnes, and from Finland 3,415 tonnes.
From January to May, China's cumulative nickel sulfate imports totaled 135,434 tonnes, up 35.9% year-on-year.
