Seaborne iron ore prices decline amid modest trading activity

Seaborne iron ore prices fell further on Wednesday, July 1, amid thinning trading activity concentrated on mainstream medium-grade fines. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Australian Fines Index declined by 1.48% or $1.45/dmt to $96.8/dmt, while the corresponding 62% Low Alumina Fines Index dropped by 1.39% or $1.45/dmt to $102.9/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.
