Daily: Seaborne prices edge lower amid fresh trades

Seaborne iron ore prices decreased slightly on Thursday, July 9. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Australian Fines decreased 0.46% or $0.45/dmt to $98.3/dmt and the corresponding 62% Low Alumina Fines index decreased by 0.29% or $0.30/dmt to $104.75/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR in Qingdao

Liquidity in the primary market was reduced. One parcel of NHGF with an August 1-10 laycan was concluded at a fixed price of $97.80/dmt on a 61% Fe basis, and one parcel of MACF with the same laycan was traded at a fixed price of $97.10/dmt on a 60.5%
