In addition, the market prices of cobalt sulfate and cobalt chloride remained stable at Yuan 85,000/t-86,000/t and 102,000-104,000/t respectively.Yesterday, the domestic markets for cobalt chloride and cobalt sulfate as a whole exhibited a stabilizing trend, with spot prices remaining unchanged from the previous trading day. On the supply side, export quota controls on cobalt ore from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) led to supply contraction, but this was partially offset by new cobalt production capacity in Indonesia and cobalt recycling. In addition, Indonesia incorporated associated elements such as cobalt, iron, and chromium from nickel ore into its pricing system, which increased cobalt production costs. On the demand side, the 3C electronics sector entered its traditional peak season, providing some support to cobalt demand.
