WEEKLY: China's rebar output rebounds on week

China's rebar production ended its two-week drop over July 16-22, with the combined tonnage among the 137 domestic steel mills under Mysteel's coverage recovering by 2.3% or 46,000 tonnes to 2.01 million tonnes, Mysteel's latest survey showed.

During the same survey period, the rebar rolling capacity utilization rate among these sampled mills averaged 44.2%, rising by 1 percentage point on week, while their average operational rate also gained by 0.6 percentage point on week to 39.6%, the survey results showed.
