China's thermal coal market remained rangebound during the week of July 2731, with tightening supply largely neutralizing soft demand to keep the market in equilibrium.

Mysteel assessed the benchmark 5,500 kcal/kg NAR thermal coal at Yuan 825/tonne ($122.2/t), holding steady from Monday through Thursday before recording a marginal Yuan 1/t uptick on Friday.
