DAILY: China's spot rebar prices level out, trading largely stable

China's domestic rebar market showed tentative signs of recovery on August 5, while trading activity of the long steel product remained resilient, with daily volumes holding above the 90,000-tonne mark, Mysteel Global learned.

The national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar assessed by Mysteel stood at Yuan 3,214/tonne ($476/t) including the 13% VAT on Wednesday, recovering by Yuan 1/t from the day prior and ending four straight workdays of losses.
