China releases 15th FYP for new power system, building green, low-carbon electricity landscape

China has released the 15th Five-Year Plan (FYP) for the Construction of the New Power System, outlining a roadmap to establish a safe, reliable, green, low-carbon, resilient and intelligent power grid by 2030. The plan focuses on accelerating renewable energy integration, strengthening grid infrastructure, promoting smart microgrids and direct green electricity supply models, and improving the electricity market system.
