WEEKLY: China miners' iron ore output, stocks both rebound

After a temporary drop in the previous week, production of iron ore concentrates among Chinese mining companies recovered slightly in the past week, with the increase being observed mainly in the northern regions of the country, Mysteel's latest survey showed.

Total daily production of iron ore concentrates among the 186 mining and concentrating enterprises under Mysteel's tracking nationwide averaged 438,700 tonnes/day during July 31-August 6, up by a small 1,200 t/d or 0.3% from the previous week.
