DAILY: Six Shanxi coking coal mines resume production after power malfunctions

Six coking coal mines in Liulin, Lvliang city, North China's Shanxi province, resumed operations after a four-day suspension caused by a local power malfunction. The temporary supply disruption, coupled with improved downstream demand, helped lift China's coking coal prices last week.

According to market sources, six mines in Lvliang city, mainly producing primary coking coal and lean coal, resumed operations on August 8 after gaining approval from local authorities.
