WEEKLY: China's domestic iron ore concs prices drop further

Prices for domestically produced iron ore concentrates continued to track lower throughout China's major production bases over the past week, a symptom of the cooled buying interest of steelmakers in the feed, the results of Mysteel's latest survey showed.

For example, by August 7 the offering price for 66% Fe grade iron ore concentrates in Tangshan city in North China's Hebei province had slipped 1.3% on week to Yuan 755/wmt ($111.9/t) excluding the 13% VAT, while that for 63% Fe grade iron ore concs in Changjiang city in
