For lithium carbonate, the cathode producers mostly sourced feedstock via long-term or tolling arrangements. This week, as futures prices have deviated significantly from the monthly average, only some large-sized downstream customers have made active purchases, with most producers maintaining a wait-nd-see stance and only willing to buy on dips.
