DAILY: China's coking coal prices surge further on firm demand

China's domestic coking coal market remained firmly bullish on August 26, supported by resilient trading activity amid lingering near-term supply concerns.

On Wednesday, Mysteel Coking Coal Index (MCCI), which tracks coking coal prices in China, stood at Yuan 2,068.7/tonne ($307.8/t) including the 13% VAT, jumping Yuan 66.9/t from the previous session.
