WEEKLY: China's rebar output recovers on week

China's rebar production ended a six-week decline over September 3-9, with the tonnage produced by the 137 Chinese steelmakers under Mysteel's tracking recovering by 1.5% or 24,700 tonnes on week to 1.72 million tonnes, according to Mysteel's latest survey result.

Mysteel attributed the rise in output mainly to some steelmakers resuming idled bar mills and others plugging market shortages in rebars in certain product specifications.
