Imported Iron Ore Demand Price Supply
Chinese prices for imported iron ore declined during the week of September 7-11, mainly as steelmakers showed a tepid appetite for the steelmaking raw material, Mysteel's latest weekly report shows.
On September 11, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines was assessed at Yuan 689/wmt ($102.7/wmt) FOT and including the 13% VAT, down Yuan 17/wmt from a week prior, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines slid $3.4/dmt on week to sit at $97.85/dmt CFR Qingdao.     Although elevated freight rates for iron ore
