WEEKLY: Aust., Brazilian iron ore shipments rebound 4.6% WoW

The total volume of iron ore dispatched to global destinations from the 20 ports and 17 mining companies in Australia and Brazil rebounded by 1.2 million tonnes or 4.6% from the prior week to reach 27.4 million tonnes during September 7-13, with shipments rising from both countries, according to Mysteel's tracking.

During the latest survey period, Brazilian iron ore shipped worldwide from the country's nine ports bounced back by 635,000 tonnes or 8.3% on week to reach 8.3 million tonnes, with the volume sent by Vale surging 1.7 million tonnes or 32.2% from the prior week to 6.9 million tonnes. Meanwhile,
