WEEKLY: China's domestic iron ore prices weaken

Prices for domestically produced iron ore concentrates generally edged lower across major production bases in China over the past week, pressured by subdued demand from steelmakers, the results of Mysteel's latest survey showed.

For example, the offering price for 66% Fe grade iron ore concentrates in Tangshan, North China's Hebei province, had fallen 1.4% on week to Yuan 735/wmt ($109.7/wmt), excluding the 13% VAT, as of September 18.
