Malaysian palm oil fell in the night session, and Dalian palm oil continued to decline. On the spot side, 24-degree palm oil prices in various regions fell by Yuan 30-50/tonne, with Tianjin at Yuan 9,610/tonne, Shandong at Yuan 9,660/tonne, Jiangsu at Yuan 9,490/tonne, and Guangdong at Yuan 9,440/tonne. Market transactions totaled only 1,100 tonnes, down 330 tonnes from the previous working day, reflecting sluggish downstream purchasing willingness. On the production side, SGS data showed that Malaysia's palm oil exports from September 1-15 totaled 528,839 tonnes, up 14.99% month-on-month. However, output from September 1-20 rose 21.32% month-on-month while exports fell 12.80% month-on-month, indicating emerging supply pressure in producing areas. Domestically, concentrated arrivals from September to October continued, inventories kept accumulating, and the deep inversion of the soybean oil-palm oil price spread suppressed market liquidity.
