Stockpiles of imported iron ore sintering fines held by Chinese integrated steelmakers dropped significantly during the country's seven-day National Day holiday over October 1-7, Mysteel's latest survey indicated.

As of October 7, total stocks of imported iron ore sintering fines piled at the yards of the 64 domestic blast furnace (BF) steelmakers under Mysteel's tracking touched a five-month low of 12.9 million tonnes, thinning by a marked 16% from September 30.
