DAILY: China's steel market stays weak as seasonal lull nears

China's steel market stayed weak on October 26, with prices of major finished steel products including rebar and hot-rolled coil (HRC) posting further losses in both spot and futures markets.

The national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar came in at Yuan 3,304/tonne ($495/t) on Monday, down by another Yuan 7/t from last Friday, while the national price of Q235B 4.75mm HRC also slipped by Yuan 8/t to sit low at Yuan 3,240/t, according to Mysteel's assessments. In the derivatives market,
