DAILY: Seaborne iron ore index rangebounds amid fresh trades

The seaborne index increased on Wednesday, November 4. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Fines rose by 1.44% or $1.30/dmt to $91.85/dmt, while the corresponding 62% Low Alumina Fines index rose by 0.89% or $0.85/dmt to $96.65/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.

Liquidity in the primary market was stable, with several parcels occurring on the platform. Two parcels of MACF with December 6-15 laycans were sold at fixed price of $91.25/dmt and $91.3/dmt on a 60.5% Fe basis. Later, one parcel of IOCJ with a November 2-11 laycan was finally offered
