NBS: China’s Jan-May FAI up 5.6%, property up 11.2%

China's overall fixed asset investment (FAI) grew by 5.6% on year to Yuan 21.76 trillion ($3.15 trillion) for January-May, though the five-month growth was lower by 0.5 percentage point from growth during January-April, according to the latest data released by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on Friday.
The yearly growth of private-sector FAI during January-May also edged down by 0.2 percentage point from the first four months to 5.3% and totaled Yuan 13.08 trillion, according to NBS.
