BREAKING NEWS: China to tax $75 billion U.S. goods

China’s State Council Tariff Commission will impose 5% and 10% tariffs on the U.S. goods worth $75 billion on or 5,078 items in two batches respectively on September 1 and December 15 as the countermeasures to the U.S. announcement on the 10% tariffs on Chinese goods worth $300 billion also in two batches on these two dates.
Among the products included in the tariffs, 916 items will be imposed on a 10% tariff and 801 items a 5% tax starting September 1, and 912 items will be charged with a 10% tariff, and 2,449 items a 5% tax starting December 15. “The U.S. decision has caused the continuing escalation
