MYMETAL: China’s zinc ingot stocks up on thin trading
ABSTRACT
China’s zinc ingot inventories in the six major cities and provinces under Mymetal’s weekly survey reversed up to 150,000 tonnes as of November 8, up 5,500 tonnes or 3.8% on week, largely due to the remaining tepid buying interest among end-users over November 1-8, market sources indicated on Tuesday. Mymetal is Mysteel’s publication on non-ferrous news and prices.“Over the past week, the overall buying interest among end-users in East and South China for zinc ingot was still relatively low, with only some end-users willing to replenish some quantities when the price dipped further in the latter half of last week,” a market analyst based in Shanghai commented,
