Vietnam: Japanese Imported Scrap Prices Up Recently

Imported scrap trades to Vietnam picked up last week, with a few major bookings being reported from Japan, even as high currency exchange rate last week moved prices upwards.
2 bulk bookings from Japan comprising of 5,000 MT of H2 scrap each, were concludedlast weekat USD 255/MT CFR north Vietnam, with currency Japanese yen appreciating sharply during mid last week, being attributed as the main reason for the high prices.JPY closed at around 105 against USD towards closing
