WEEKLY: China steel export offers stabilize, inquiries up

China’s steel export offerings had shown signs of stabilizing over April 13-17 after having declined for five consecutive weeks, and inquiries from overseas increased though few deals had been concluded, according to market sources.
China’s SS400 4.75mm hot-rolled coil (HRC) offering stayed unchanged on week at $408/tonne FOB Bayuquan port, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, while the B500B 18-25mm rebar offering even rebounded by $3/t on week to $431/t FOB Shanghai port, East China, both the prices are the averages of the series of offering
