Vietnam importers book 40,000 MT HRC from Japan

Buyers in Vietnam are aggressively importing HRC this week. In yet another booking reported recently, mills have booked around 40,000 MT HRC from Japan's Nippon Steel at USD 435-440/MT CFR basis for Aug’20 shipments.

Meanwhile, in another deal reported this week, Vietnam based importers namely Hoa Sen and Kim Quoc booked around 40,000 MT HRC from Russian major Severstal steel at USD 425/MT CFR Vietnam basis for July shipment.
