China’s coking plants renew push for coke price rises

Beginning this week, leading coke producers in North and East China have decided to launch another campaign to push up coke selling prices by Yuan 50/tonne ($7.4/t), citing the rising price of coal and steel mills’ robust appetite for their coke, according to sources.
