Blast furnace (BF) capacity utilization among China’s 247 steel mills under Mysteel’s survey dipped for the second week by 0.53 percentage point on week to an average of 91.24% over January 8-14, as some of the furnaces at the steel mills in North China’s Hebei province had been conducted maintenance with the outbreak of COVID-19 cases in the cities of Hebei.
