China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has publicized a 10-page trial version of regulations regarding commodities and service pricing indices compilation, release, maintenance, assessments, ownership transfer and discontinuation on June 17 on its website, which will be effective on August 1 for three years, with the aim to better maintain the related market orders and regulate the bulk commodities prices.

that are related to China’s commodities and services, which has helped to enhance
rationality, transparency and influence of our domestic pricing indices… however
some that have been compiled with a scientific foundation and randomly have stirred
