NDRC: South China’s power supply tightness easing


The power supply constraints in the southern part of China, particularly in Guangdong and Yunnan provinces, had eased by mid-June thanks to power rationing to industrial enterprises, additional transmissions from the national grid, and increases in generation capacity utilization among local power stations, according to Meng Wei, the spokesperson of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
