SHFE copper, aluminum and nickel futures prices all rise


As of July 30, the most-traded copper, nickel and aluminum contracts on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) all showed on-week rises when the daytime trading session ended. The Shanghai prices were tracking in step with the price movements of the same metals on the London Metal Exchange, Mysteel Global noted.
Over this week, sentiment in the nonferrous market was comparatively positive. On July 30, SHFE’s August copper contract increased by Yuan 1,960/tonne ($303/t) from the prior Friday’s settlement price to close the daytime trading session at Yuan 71,500/t.
